Exchange For Physicals [EFP]

Alliance, through its affiliation with Integrated Brokerage Services, LLC, makes active markets in Exchange For Physicals (EFP) transactions. In an EFP transaction, a "cash or physical market" position is converted into a futures position or a futures position is converted into a "cash or physical market" position without incurring the risk associated with executing two separate transactions (i.e. one in the cash/physical market and one on the futures exchange floor). These transactions can be utilized to establish or liquidate either a physical market or a futures position or transfer positions between the cash or physical market and the futures market at significantly reduced levels of risk.
